The Kontinentals Doo Wop Kruisers were founded by Ron Dargo, Steve Gronas (The Count) and Danny Wilson (Doo Wop Dan) in 1998 to build a community of classic and vintage car owners who love Oldies from the '50s and '60s
The purpose of the Kontinental Kruisers is to foster camaraderie among members, promote social activities (e.g. cruises, dances, etc.), support vintage and classic car ownership, and embrace Doo Wop and Oldies style music. We welcome anyone with a car older than 25 years to join us in our passion for our vehicles at the Tuesday Night VFW Cruises.
With a heavy heart, we regretfully report that on December 31, 2011, the Kontinentals lost one of their original members after a long battle with cancer. George Gronas, (aka Daddy-O), will be greatly missed. Please take a moment and say a prayer for George and his family.
